Klaus Ruckgaber gründete 1984 das Kindertheater „Teo Tiger“ im Fichtehaus in Tübingen.
Er ist der 1. Vorsitzende von „Clowns im Dienst e. V.“ und bildet, zusammen mit seiner Frau Christel, in der Tübinger „Clownschule“ Clowns für die Arbeit in Kliniken und Pflegeeinrichtungen aus.
