With the renowned Signum Quartet

THE KÄSSPÄTZLE EVENING

During a cozy dinner after the brilliant quartet evening with the Signum Quartett in the summer of 2021, the idea arose to offer a course for amateur ensembles in chamber music-loving Tübingen.

The idea is to offer a course for amateurs experienced in chamber music, where the focus is not only on “making music yourself” but also on “observing”. Each ensemble will receive lessons from each member of the Signum Quartet. In addition, it is possible to rehearse without a teacher and to watch rehearsals of the Signum Quartet as a listener.

Registration is possible only in ensemble (string trio to string sextet). We ask to prepare the repertoire in advance.

The vielklang was founded by Felix Thiedemann and Arndt Feuerbacher in 2011. They pursued the idea of designing and organizing a festival in Tübingen by young people for young people on and in front of the stage. In almost every year since its founding, new ideas have been added, realized and implemented: 2013 saw the first master classes, 2014 saw the addition of a choir, 2015 the sing!@Tübingen project.

In 2013, vielklang was placed on a broader footing with the founding of vielklang e. V.. Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Herta Däubler Gmelin could be won as patron.

We are looking forward with great anticipation to vielklang 2023 and the upcoming concerts and events.

The application must contain

– signed registration form
– information about the repertoire
– copy of the bank transfer confirmation of the registration fee of 50 €.
This amount will not be refunded in case of cancellation.

 Participation fees
Participation fees per person 300 € / 200 € reduced*

For registration after 15.7. the administration fee increases to 100 €.
For registration a registration fee of 50 € has to be transferred, which is not included in the participation fees. Please transfer the participation fees until 3 days before the course starts.

Festival pass (for participation at a preferential price) 150 € / 100 € reduced
Can be booked per person. It entitles the holder to attend all events.
* Reduction for students, trainees and pupils up to 35 years.

Each ensemble receives two lessons each afternoon from different members of the Signum Quartet. In the mornings, public rehearsals of the Signum Quartet can be attended. The Uhland-Gymnasium is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and offers enough rooms so that each ensemble can rehearse there.
